Symfony 5 ldap authentication save user in db or not? [closed]

I want my user to login through a login form using ldap to authenticate them. I want my users to be able to create objects which are stored in my database (for example a Todo for a user). Since it’s my first time using ldap I’m not sure if I need to create a user in my db for each ldap user in order to do this or if there’s a way to store ldap user information (an ID) in a Todo without doing so. Also, id I need to store my users in my own db how would I go about this?
